Les filles mineures présumées « exposées à des dangers moraux ou physiques » à la Cour de bien-être social de Chicoutimi (1963-1977)

Abstract

This article proposes to investigate the cases of minors presumed to be “exposed to moral or physical dangers” who appeared to the Social Welfare Court of Chicoutimi between 1963 and 1977. We will see that the reasons which justify bringing these minors to court are greatly modulated by the type of accused. However, if boys and girls are called to court for different reasons, it appears that the desire to protect them displays similar gaits.
